Prada Marfa is a permanent art installation resembling a Prada Boutique. Even though the artists expect it will eventually be destroyed by time and the elements. Some people call it "Store as sculpture", other people call it "a piece of art". Installed on a desert road in Texas.
The shop was never intended to open to the public.
The artists agreed that the Prada label visible from the street made it clear for them that consumerism and "culture" have become inevitably linked.
